Why I like irinaslutsky
Irina asks the best questions and I find her terribly amusing.
It’s not often that I laugh out loud reading what someone posted online but you did just that! I work in the “political” world, I need a good laugh every minute or so. Thanks!
when I first met Jason, it was like I had known Jason all my life. Weird huh? we still trip out on that. But he’s “my partner-in-crazy.” We have fun traditions like “Thursday Dinner,” going to Coachella, and just having lots of laughter…I heard a story when we were helping our friend out and the moving guy asked, “have they been drinking?” Nope..we are always like that!
I started blogging on TypePad because I ran into this brother’s blog. I like his style and take on music. Would be interesting to talk to the brother in person.
Jason and I met two years ago training for and running our first marathon for the Aids Programs of Los Angeles. We were in the same pace group and eventually became co-pace group leaders (the people in charge). When long runs would get tough I used to make Jason talk about sex. He had a hard time with the training, but we finished in front of the rest of the people in our group on race day and we have been friends ever since. I occasionally try to persuade him to run another marathon with me.
I’ve read his blog now for about a year or two and have always enjoyed his perspective.
Not only that, we share quite a handful of sites in common, all of which I’ve added him as a contact.
He seems interesting as a person, and I’d like to say hello to him in person.
Tiffany showed up at SXSW and became a star. Gotta love that.
She’s now one of the key voices in the blog-world talking about women in tech, web tech itself and wine.
What else do you want?
We crossed paths online, then met after being on a panel together at SXSW 2005.
He’s funny, intelligent and multi-faceted. A good guy to meet.
